Hommarju began producing in 2008. Influenced by rave music, he prides himself on the extreme, driving sound of his compositions. Hommarju has contributed music to a number of rhythm games including beatmaniaIIDX and SOUND VOLTEX. He has also done arrangements for GACKT, and was a winner in a remix contest held by BOOM BOOM SATELLITES. After participating in Hardcore Underground compilations, Hommarju gained a following in the UK, with his tracks being played by popular UK Hardcore DJs like DJ Cotts and Brisk. Hommarju's first album "HYENA" received wide attention for its striking artwork as well as its hard-hitting tracks. 2019's follow-up "天才失格 -No Longer Prodigy-" brought a fusion of club music and emotionality to the artist's sound. Hommarju aims to instill his music with a glimpse of the otherwise unseen, both in the world and inside ourselves, and to share that with his listeners.
