Notebook Records is a label founded and run by RoughSketch. Based in Sapporo, Hokkaido, RoughSketch is active both as a producer and event organizer, heading the label Notebook Records (JP) and the hardcore party YATSUZAKI HARDCORE (SHC). Known for a unique sound that blends hardcore techno with a wide range of influences, RoughSketch brings a distinctive edge to the scene. Their work has been released on major labels like the legendary Dutch imprint Megarave Records, as well as beatnation RHYZE, HARDCORE TANO*C, and their own Notebook Records (JP). RoughSketch also operates under various aliases depending on the style, including uno (IOSYS), RoughSkreamZ, 臨界モスキー党, DJ Laugh, and Chameleonheads—showcasing versatility across multiple genres and scenes.
