Silver halide giclee, in which emulsions (emulsions) applied to photographic paper undergo a chemical reaction with the developing solution to produce colors, can reproduce as many as 16.7 million colors, 16 times more than the human color vision.
From subtle highlights to shadows, Giclee prints can produce natural and smooth tonal gradations as if drawn with a brush, which is impossible with inkjet prints in which dyes and pigments are sprayed onto the paper.
This is a completely new level of printing technology that far surpasses the "inkjet printing" used in the world of digital reproduction prints.
