Notice of New Regulations in Turkish Customs Law

Effective August 21, 2024, new regulations under Turkey's Customs Law No. 4458 have come into effect. The following changes have been implemented:

• Lowered Customs Duty Threshold: The Customs Duty Threshold for Business-to-Consumer (B2C) shipments has been reduced from 150 EUR to 30 EUR.
• Revised Tariff Rates: The tariff rate has increased from 30% to 60% for imports from non-EU countries and from 20% to 30% for imports from EU countries.
