AIT_VRCF2MA — One-click conversion of VRCFury assets to Modular Avatar (MA) compatible format.

Have you ever wanted to use overseas VRCFury-based outfits or gimmicks in a Modular Avatar (MA) setup, only to find they’re not compatible?

This tool is a Unity editor extension that automatically converts VRCFury-built prefabs into Modular Avatar (MA)-ready components. It converts major VRCFury components such as FullController, Armature Link, BlendShape Link, Bounding Box Fix, etc., into their MA equivalents in one go. It is safe to use since it does not modify the original data—instead, it generates a clone and performs the conversion on that copy.

It also includes features that automatically fix Build Validation errors related to audio, as well as converting VRCFury’s “DeleteDuringUpload” into the EditorOnly tag automatically.

This tool is designed for creators who want to use VRCFury-compatible assets in MA environments, or who want to offer MA-compatible versions of their work.

How to use

① Setup
Make sure both VRCFury and Modular Avatar are imported into your Unity project.

② Open the tool
From the Unity top menu, select:
Atelier IRONTURTLE → AIT_VRCF2MA (Scene Clone)

③ Register source
Drag and drop the VRCFury-compatible prefabs or GameObjects you want to convert into the Source field. Multiple items are supported.

④ Select components to convert
In the “Conversion Target” section, check the components you want to convert. You can enable only the ones actually used, but leaving all checked is also fine.

⑤ Run conversion
Click the “Generate MA Clone in Scene” button at the bottom. A cloned object with the prefix “MA_” will be created in the scene. The original prefab will remain unchanged.

⑥ Test
Apply the generated clone to your avatar and confirm that it works correctly in a Modular Avatar environment.
