Introduction

The track draws inspiration from the 2008 Makina anthem "4 Ever & 1 Night" by Kubik, DJ Ray, and DJ Suly, producers associated with Spain's legendary Makina ecosystem and the iconic club Chasis.

At the time, M-Project was already widely recognized among fans as one of the artists helping introduce Makina to new audiences in Japan. However, his interests extended far beyond traditional Makina. He was also among the producers exploring adjacent sounds including Poky, Donk, and Bouncy House styles emerging from Spain and the United Kingdom.

As a result, "4Ever & 1Night" feels simultaneously respectful of its source material and distinctly Japanese in execution. It reflects a period when international Hardcore sounds circulated freely between countries, inspiring local reinterpretations and new hybrid styles.

06. Reloaded World

A love letter to classic rave culture.

Although appearing here under the M-Project name, fans may remember the track's earlier appearance on the compilation SPEEDKING Vol.3 under the title "M-Project feat. GUHROOVY."

The song embraces many of the sounds associated with 1990s rave music: uplifting chord progressions, energetic synth stabs, and an unmistakable sense of optimism.

Rather than chasing trends, "Reloaded World" celebrates the timeless foundations upon which Hardcore culture was built.

The track exemplifies the energetic Makina sound that dominated many Japanese Hardcore dancefloors during the period. Powerful kicks, memorable vocal hooks, and relentless forward motion make it one of the album's most instantly recognizable songs.

The vocal phrase:

"Never ever take me for a fool or a sucker..."

references source material familiar to many Hard Dance fans. Listeners may recognize connections to sounds associated with the legendary Italian Hardstyle duo Wild Motherfuckers, a project involving Tatanka and Zatox, who would later become major figures at international festivals such as Defqon.1.

The result is a fascinating blend of Spanish Makina, Japanese Hardcore production, and broader European Hard Dance influences.

10. Pulse Vision (Ruboy Remix)

One of the strongest examples of the ongoing exchange between Japanese and Spanish Hardcore scenes.

Ruboy's remix preserves the speed and drive of the original while amplifying its emotional core. Delicate synth melodies dominate the breakdown before giving way to an intensely powerful Makina drop.

12. Beyond The Wall

The track incorporates elements associated with Funkot, an ultra-fast dance music style that originated in Jakarta, Indonesia.

During the late 2000s and early 2010s, Funkot began attracting attention within sections of Japan's underground club scene. DJs, internet communities, and Hardcore enthusiasts became increasingly fascinated by its extreme energy and unconventional rhythms.

Rather than imitating the style directly, M-Project filters those influences through his own melodic approach, creating a unique hybrid that is equal parts Makina, Hardcore, and Funkot.

13. Frozen Storm

(feat. TANUKI)

14. Distorted Mind (Hellsystem Remix)

After spending much of its runtime exploring uplifting melodies and euphoric rave culture, HARDCORE ILLUSIONIST 2 closes by descending into darker territory.
